#549 - 2010-07-16 - my harddrives feel funny

Finally, after 2 days of agony, dealing with incompetent people at the postal 'service', I got my new Gigabit-switch.

Just introduced it to my workstation and mediacenter and the initial test showed a throughput of 192mbit from the mediacenter/server to the workstation. I'm pleased as I haven't even got any raid set up.. At the end of august I will get a proper filestorage-unit (NAS-box for you geeks out there). yay!
