To help me deal with recent problems, a friend introduced me to a concept called
'anchoring'.
Generalized it means, that whenever you're feeling down, you should focus on something that made you happy before - such as thinking back to a happy moment from your childhood, listening to music that made you happy a long time ago etc.
For me, it seems that thinking back to that time on one of my kayaking trips in Sweden, where I was sitting out there in the lake - all by myself, no sounds, no wind - just the stillness of the water and the soft sounds of the kayak slowly moving through the water. I got a picture of it - check it out
here.
rené [thinking]: Mm. This anchoring-thing really seems to work.
rené [thinking]: Although I'm not sure I'm doing it right...
